Privacy Policy
What personal data Matrixel collects, how we use and share it, how long we keep it, and the choices you have.
Last updated: July 28, 2026
1. Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how Matrixel, operated by [Registered legal entity — to confirm] ("Matrixel", "we", "us"), handles personal data when you use matrixel.xyz and related services. For privacy questions, contact us at privacy@matrixel.xyz.
2. Data we collect
We collect:
- Account data — your name, email address, phone number, and, if you sign in with Google, the basic profile information Google shares with your consent.
- Content you upload — the images you submit for generation, and the videos generated from them.
- Payment data — for card payments, your card details are entered directly with our processor (Stripe) and are not stored by us; we keep records of your purchases, plan and credit balance. For manual payments, we store the transfer screenshot you upload as proof.
- Usage and technical data — log data such as device and browser information, IP address, and how you interact with the Service, used to run and secure it.
3. How we use your data
We use personal data to:
- provide the Service — create your account, process your images into clips, and store and deliver your videos;
- handle payments, credits, subscriptions and manual-payment review;
- provide support, respond to you, and send service-related messages such as password resets;
- keep the Service secure, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations;
- maintain and improve the Service.
4. Legal bases
Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on: performance of our contract with you (to provide the Service and process payments); our legitimate interests (to secure and improve the Service and prevent abuse); your consent (for example, Google sign-in); and compliance with legal obligations.
5. AI processing of your images
To generate a clip, your uploaded images are processed by automated AI models and stored in cloud storage. We use this content to operate the Service and produce your videos. We do not sell your images or generated videos.
6. Sharing and processors
We share personal data only with service providers who process it on our behalf and under contract, including: Google Cloud (storage and processing of images and videos), Stripe (card payment processing), and Google (sign-in). We may also disclose data where required by law, to protect our rights or users, or in connection with a business transfer. We do not sell your personal data.
7. Retention
We keep personal data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, then for the period required to meet legal, accounting or security obligations. You can ask us to delete your account and content, subject to records we must retain by law (for example, payment records).
8. Security
We use technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encrypted transport, access controls, and httpOnly session cookies rather than exposing tokens to the browser. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and to respond appropriately to incidents.
9. International transfers
Our providers, such as Google Cloud and Stripe, may process data in countries other than yours. Where data is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards as required by applicable law.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to object to certain processing or withdraw consent. You can exercise many of these from your profile, or by contacting privacy@matrixel.xyz. You also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.
11. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to operate the Service securely (for example, our session cookies). These are essential to the Service and are not used for advertising. Your browser settings let you block cookies, but the Service may not work correctly without the essential ones.
12. Children
The Service is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
13. Changes and contact
We may update this Policy from time to time and will change the "last updated" date above. For material changes we will take reasonable steps to notify you. Questions or requests: privacy@matrixel.xyz, or [Registered business address — to confirm].
